My personal favourites are the ones in 'Devil and Daughter' by Black Sabbath, 'Disposable Heroes by Metallica, and 'Eruption' by Van Halen. Who disagrees?

And Randy Rhoads immediately below Tony Iommi. They should both have been top 20, easily.

hmm... Jimmy Page, Dave Gilmour, Paul Gilbert... not the best, but I always had a thing for the end of Fat Old Sun by Pink Floyd, fantastic guitaring.

I think Slash is rated pretty highly in the top guitar work.

All of the solo's in GnR' tracks are totally awesome.

And he wears a damn cool hat, muha.

Does he have a face?

His insane amount of hair just seems to cover his head - On the odd occasion you might see a ciggarette "poking out the bush".

I wonder if it gets caught in his tuning pegs...

Yes, Ted, but I do not believe Wyld Stallyns can be triumphant until we have Eddie Van Halen on guitar.

My favourite solo is in Dry County by Bon Jovi. Go on, have a listen.
