Possibly the worst film I've ever seen at the cinema. Its script doesn't hold together, the narrrative and structure is terrible and the best characters don't even feature that heavily.
I didn't think it was possible for a film to be so coherantly bad, yet this one manages to collect itself into small pieces of crap before ending in a blatent and unspectacular manner. I wish they hadn't made the sequels, the first was so good.
Try and argue that this film was good? I'll let you pass.
Try and argue that this film was great? Your an idiot who knows nothing and likes seeing repetitive rubbish that you cannot understand or follow. It made no sense and argh... I can't go on.
I gave it a chance, I thought I'd actually be quite good. Urgh.
I was shocked. I was amazed.
> loads that I loved - the Bane/Neo confrontation
I'm in Revolutions? I hope I whip Neo's ass!!
*quietly suspects otherwise*
So I think people will be let down at first but if they see it a few more times they might start to enjoy it more.

Here Here. Well said. Far too many people are snobby when it comes to films, and in doing so forget the simple joy in film in the first place. I *do* like obscure / cult / japanese movies but at the same time, there are occasions where I want mindless action and Hollywood special effects.
Like 2pm today, when I'm going to see Revolutions.
Favorite 5 films currently? Hmmm.
The Thing (watched again yesterday. Great yet again)
Solaris
Commando (reduces me to tears of laughter every time)
Dune (Lynch)
Time Bandits
they want to be controversial and 'none mainstream' - this seperates them from the 'brainless masses'
they didn't understand it, and think it'll come off better if they say they hated it
Let's get down to brass tacks here. When I watched the first two matrix films, it was the overall story I loved, not the dialogue, not the script, not the acting. Unless this film is made on a budget of 10 quid, with a handicam, and actors they paid £2 an hour who they found down the trafford centre, which won't happen.
I watched reloaded recently with a few friends, and during the burly brawl, they had to point out that in some sequences, you can tell neo is CGI. Who cares? Does it look bad enough to ruin your enjoyment? NO.
Lets not forget what this is - entertainment - so be entertained, and don't pick at every little thing.
I heartily look forward to my viewing of this film on friday afternoon.
No, hang on a minute - I do get why you hate it. Because it's "Hollywood maaaaan."
I bet if 3 people had seen it, in Japanese with subtitles and you had "discovered" it, your little movie gem, then you'd love it.
Typical college film-studies student, convinced he'll set the world alight with his own movies.
"I gave it a chance, I thought it might actually be quite good" - No you didn't, you've been banging on for weeks about how rubbish Reloaded was and how crap Revolutions will be.
You didn't like it, fair enough. What makes me laugh, I mean physically laugh out loud, is this bit:
"Try and argue that this film was great? Your an idiot who knows nothing and likes seeing repetitive rubbish that you cannot understand or follow."
I liked Reloaded a lot, and I'll like Revolutions a lot as well. Because I want want The Wachowski Bros are offering.
So that makes me an idiot that knows nothing and likes seeing repetitive rubbish?
Pffft, I've forgotten more films than you'll ever see mate, including osbcure little Russian ones that, whilst at College, tried to convince myself I liked because nobody else did.
Like I said, typical arrogance/stupidity of somebody that thinks because a lecturer at college has taught them about mis-en-scene, character arc and the 6 plot lines they know more than anyone else.
You didn't like Revolutions, I told you that months ago. Fair do's, nobody says you have to.
But do not, for one single second, attempt to patronise me because I happen to like Reloaded and (without doubt) Revolutions.
Stick to telling people how cool Japanese horror movies are because, y'know, nobody else watches those.
Out of interest, tell me your favourite 5 films of the moment.
I'm interested to see.
And I fully expect to see the usual sneering at Tarantino and Wachowksi Bros whilst completely neglecting to mention films by people like Hal Ashby, Paul Schrader, Peter Bogdanovich etc.
*settles back and waits for deliberately obscure and culty movie top 5 list*
Mine?
Jaws, Southern Comfort, Blue Collar, The Princess Bride & Mean Machine (NOT the Vinnie Jones remake)

That somes up my feelings completely.....
But WRONG ENDING! It went out like a damp squib!
BAD!?
Revolutions kicks the other two's nads like they were footballs.
