OK,

I know I'm in the wrong here...

I bought an item from the eBay-monkies 'jayandmarie' (look at their feedback)

Item number - 2557693537

It's aaaages old, I know

They've filed a NPB thing against me, but I have e-mailed them 4+ times telling them my payment will be delayed until I get hold of a PayPal account. I've had no reply from them. What can I do?

I e-mailed them telling them they won't get money for a while, and I desperately want the CD.

How much do you want to bet he gets an email back from eBay with links to their "Problems with a transaction" type page ? Huh ? They won't contact the seller.

And HHAT, if you're waiting for the card to come, then how did you plan to pay back in September ?

Actually, I'm just waiting for my Solo card to come through the post, at which point there will be nothing blocking me from buying anything I feel like off eBay... Which isn't a very good thing, is it? :-D

Didn't know the seller was from the US but EBay would contact them for HHAT if they are ignoring his emails.

US banks charge a MASSIVE rate for accepting cheques drawn on a UK bank, something like $20, and postal orders are no good as you can only draw them within the UK. eBay won't actually intervene to explain things to the seller for HHAT - they're gonna tell him it was his responsibility to ensure he could pay etc AS for why he's being ignored - well the seller is probably really sick of hearing the usually empty promises of payment from people, they'll want payment especially after one and a half months...

Go to help and then click contact us. They should ask you to narrow down your search but instead just click contact us. I would give you a link but it opens in a new window.

Well the NPB is like a warning to you to pay up, I'm guessing you're waiting for your credit card bill or bank statement so you can confirm the card ?

Does your bank offer online banking or online credit card statements ?

To be honest, you won the item AGES ago, the seller's going to give you the time he/she has to then let eBay know you didn't pay up and you'll be warned. 3 warnings and you're banned. If you pay within that time then they won't tell eBay. From that sellers point of view you've already got one negative for non payment in the country you live in, let alone abroad...

Ahhh right. Not much you can do there apart from to post their email address on a hacking forum :)

Nah seriously just contact EBay and explain everything. They should set you up with a solution and contact the seller for you.
