WITH ME?
The film company does the sound transfer, not the pirates.
Why do you think they spend months trying to get a mix equal to that of the cinema version? They haven't even decided what audio track/s will run on the DVD yet.
It's not difficult to understand.

Actually it DD5.1 or DTS on most DVDs. As Bane as said time and time again that DVD copies of the actual movie are out before release, these are perfect copies that are on a proper DVD and have proper 5.1/DTS as they are used to show top exec people what the movie is etc. In January the Two Towers was released as a perfect copy with 5.1 on DVD less than 2 weeks after the cinema release as it was a screener copy for the Oscars.
Alot of the pirate DVD's do have crap sound and video, because some idiot has put a cam version on a DVD to sell it to some idiot who thinks he.she is getting DVD quality. The real good stuff is not released at all or if it is its only people with top notch site access or people in the know that get them, or if someone is selling them at a car boot. Dont forget that a movie company isnt going to send out poor quality video and sound on a movie to exec people and all the top notch company owners are they.
