How odd. I've just experienced that Christmas feeling. The one that's hard to describe. Do you still get it?

The slightly heightened excitement I get when I first see the huge trimmings in the shopping centre and pub, a slight tingling sensation. I could smell and taste the cold, you know - first thing on a cold frozen morning, just as you step out of the door, the one that immediately turns the moisture in your lungs into icicles.

This feeling is probably not helped by the fact that I have been singing songs from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang all morning with a few from Mary Poppins and Oliver thrown in for good measure.

While I dislike the commercialisation of Christmas and the money you have to waste to buy certain family members gifts, I wish I could bottle that feeling. It cheers me up. I could make my fortune.

Well I'll grab my coat now. I need to go to the bakery as I also have a craving for mince pies - iced of course.

Christmas is a poor excuse for people with not enough sense to be unhappy.

Those people who celebrate Xmas everyday. Do they celebrate a normal day on Xmas Day itself?

I love that christmas feeling

But you feel it now - already because they are pumping out and commersialising it already.

When in reality how much longer have you to wait? This feeling will wither due to advertising.

Christmas owns, although I can't believe it's almost here again, doesn't seem long ago we were only taking down the last Christmas tree...

Of course, we'll be using the same one again this year. {:)

There are a few wetpussies on here. I know it is only OCTOBER but it doesn't mean you can't experience a Christmas moment. It was only fleeting emotion that made me feel good. I can't believe that no one else experiences the same.

Also I wouldn't fancy eating those crisps and humbug just reminds me of the 'orrible rock someone always fetchs back from the coast.
