The slightly heightened excitement I get when I first see the huge trimmings in the shopping centre and pub, a slight tingling sensation. I could smell and taste the cold, you know - first thing on a cold frozen morning, just as you step out of the door, the one that immediately turns the moisture in your lungs into icicles.
This feeling is probably not helped by the fact that I have been singing songs from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang all morning with a few from Mary Poppins and Oliver thrown in for good measure.
While I dislike the commercialisation of Christmas and the money you have to waste to buy certain family members gifts, I wish I could bottle that feeling. It cheers me up. I could make my fortune.
Well I'll grab my coat now. I need to go to the bakery as I also have a craving for mince pies - iced of course.
Look it is sunny outside.
I do get it about this time of year - especially with the cold weather :)

CORKING film!! If and when I have kids, I'll be showing 'em that on Xmas eve...
I've gotta see Nightmare Before Christmas again.. I'm doing stop motion animation now anyway, I'm desperate to see it again.
Think groundhog day, and then suck out all the humour.

Oooh! Now I'm all Chrismassy! One of the best things about Christmas is the movies they put on. Last year was pretty bad, but there have been those special few classics; Muppets Christmas Carol, Nightmare Before Christmas, Santa Claus..
Mmm ;)
"There are a few wetpussies on here."
Best give Freud a ring, me thinks.
I get excited about Christmas, but wow.
Know what you mean though.. I love the feeling. :) And as sad as it is, I will forever love watching The Muppet's Christmas Carol...
..gah...and now I want to watch it...

heh, no just a touch of laziness, what I meant to write was :
NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ...... Christmas!
as in - I could do without it - it's expensive, damaging to health and stressful. the only great thing is the food, and being with family all day christmas day and boxing day.
