Because my mum now calls my MP3 player an MPV player and DVDs are now know as discs.
Anyone else have such problems?

Sorry - did I say 142? I meant 63.
Only the poor kids had Betamax, and you used to hit them.
The casettes were tiny but the machines were enormous. I remember when we got our first video and the amazement at taping something from any of the 3 channels....I feel ancient.
I also remember when tv used to go off air at 11:30ish and Channel 4 being launched.
Bah

Are you Norman Bates?
I remember our first video - it had a wireless remote control!
I remember my first computer had 32Kb of RAM.
I remember playing Doom on my 486 DX66.
Now *I* feel old.

My parents first video was a Betamax recorded. Smaller that the current VHS I've currently got, smaller tapes and better picture quality. Class machine. I also had a massive amount of videos (copied, not that I'd do that now) for it. All cult classics. Ahhhh, the days.
If you want a bulky Video player, try the ancient Phillips player. Double sided tapes, top loader, and the unit is nearly as big as an Xbox ;)
My first console was the Atari, and I loved Night Driver and Outlaw.
Then got a BBC Model B with 32k of memory and that amazed me, Chucky Egg ruled.
I also remember moaning because I had to pay £7.99 to get "The Real Thing" from Parrot Records on cassette.
