...say the alphabet when you get old?

Because my mum now calls my MP3 player an MPV player and DVDs are now know as discs.

Anyone else have such problems?

i used to bring my playstation 2 to my uncle's house. He used to call my ps2 a sonystation 2. I thought it was pretty stupid to say that after explaining to him it is called a playstation 2. Another problem is with my mother. She once told me she couldn't turn on the home theater system we have when the power button was right under her nose. Ironic isn't it?

And at the time, larger than the size of my hand.

I bought a floppy drive for my BBC - it cost me £120!

And the disks back then really were floppy.

I still remember when I got a floppy disk drive for my C64. Instead of waiting through half an hour of screechy noise loading, the disks loaded games in 2-3 minutes I think.

Hehehehhe, but think of it this way, you no longer have to wait 20 minutes for a C=64 game to load after fiddling around with the tape heads for an hour beforehand, only for it to crash.

Convoy did, indeed, rule.

I remember my nan got a video before us and she played me Convoy. It ruled. The buttons were massive sticky out plungers that you pushed down, much like old tape recorders.

My first console was the Atari, and I loved Night Driver and Outlaw.
Then got a BBC Model B with 32k of memory and that amazed me, Chucky Egg ruled.
I also remember moaning because I had to pay £7.99 to get "The Real Thing" from Parrot Records on cassette.
