It's not looking too bad, is it?

We're ranked 6th in the world.
We're fourth favourites (behind France, Italy & Portugal) to win Euro 2004.
We have arguably one of the world's best defences, a solid midfield, some very promising strikers and David James does his job very well.
England haven't lost to a European country in a competitive match under Sven.

So, will we crash out at the first hurdle like in Euro 2000 or make our first ever European final?

I think Czech Republic will win it. If you manage to remain unbeaten in a group with the Netherlands in it, then you must be doing something right.

Italy, France and England will be the other semi-finalists.

Romainia are out mate. Norway beat them to 2nd place. An easiER target for Scotland or Wales tomorrow, I think.

In my Championship Manager 4 game, England won World Cup 2006 and got to the semis at Euro 2004.

CM4 is supposed to be the most realistic management game, isn't it? Have any other CM4 gamers noticed there's a sort of English dominance in European club football aswell?

Well there are only 21 teams left who can win Euro 2004 now. Five more are still to be eliminated from the play-offs, which would be good if Holland and Turkey crash out.

Well, they've got a very good chance for 2004, so it should get better in 2006!
