So, how did everyone choose their user names?

Mine, was because I'm a bit geeky, I'm a girl, and I registered in the year 2006 (06).

Now I've told you, you tell me :D

Very_Metal the animator?

inspired partly by Viviens jacket from "The Young Ones" and partly because i relate to metal music (the no-nonsesne stuff like Pantera, Strapping Young Lad, et al, not the posey baggy trousered "boy band with strings" fiasco)

but mainly viviens jacket because i`m old :D

Spot on. I have MD but I don't think Timmy has - he's metally disabled too but I'm not ... much.

I use "Timmargh" everywhere I go online and 99% of the hits you get when searching for "Timmargh" in Google are me. Oh, and there's my website: Timmargh.net.

There's a heavily disabled guy in South Park (I'm not sure what he's supposed to have, muscular dystrophy or something?) called Timmy, who pronounces his name as "Timmaaaaaarghh!!!", and I think Timmargh took his name from that because he has something similar.

I'll have to ask her who or what 'Timmargh' is :s

Well thats a clue as to where Timmargh got his name :)
