"Poems Thread"

It seems that from time to time people will post a poem but it is awkward to find somewhere to post it. Life or General seem to be the two forums people favour so I think it would be a good idea to have a thread just for submitting poems to so that people who are interested in reading poetry or submitting there own have a thread in which to do so instead of trawling through the backlogs of posts.


Feel free to submit anything of a poetical nature to this thread as well as comments on people's writing.

I can't keep up with all of these poems people. Let me say the ones I have read are excellent.

here's another:

Murder of logical ways,
Sense, the worlds overthrow,
The living maze,
My self-belief low.

Telling me what hurts,
i'm a total mess,
Coming alive in spurts,
sins i'll someday confess.

All my deeds go without credit,
Birth and decay of meaning,
controlling me like a puppet,
eradication of feeling.

You know of nothing,
Because you're innocent,
And so it's occuring,
I'm more efficient.

It's the calling you'll not hear,
the signal you'll miss,
implying the height of fear,
I'm fed up of this.

thats why i put -chorus- in.

This is a poem/song that i think of while i write it.
it's probably about two people - i cant even makes sense of it...

The voices are singing,
The bells are ringing,
but you'll never think of seeing
my point of view.

I think you're ambiguous,
my admiration's continuous,
you're getting ridiculous
'cause i hated you.

-chorus-

Our minds connect with superglue,
and our common sense appears few,
for your wisdom, the people form a queue,
I'm jealous, Jealous of you.

-end of chorus-

My head fills with memories,
a ring of projectories,
the cave of soliloquies,
The source of taboo.

But all my spites are in vain,
This thinking's insane,
You leave me in pain,
My nerves starve too.

I'm jealous, Jealous of you.

heh. I like it.

Without time nor space infinity is void
Upon this green earth peace has been destroyed
Life is no more than some crazy delusion
Morality causes nothing but confusion
So when you're at wits end, don't despair
Realise you're meant to live life without care
Morality is a nothing, care isn't worth the stress
When it comes down to it, life is meaningless.
