I'm thinking of buying an MP3 player at the moment so I can get rid of all the songs on my computer cluttering up space.

I want one that is quite high quality, quite cheap, and I don't care about it's size, sound quality or what it looks like.

I think 10Gb would be about right, but if it's good value, more would be welcome.

Can someone please recommend me one?

Thanks.

Ah, my iPod is delayed again! Managed to get the email of the management at the AppleStore to try and get a second e-coupon though... if there's no reply by tomorrow I'm going to abuse their phone system...

Turns out that you can ring to a particular extension without going through an operator... soooo... I'll ring people randomly until I find a monkey who'll give me the managers number... then he'll be sorry./...

You do realise you can get these new from an online retailer (ie, not fleabay), for £15 more? Well worth it imo..

The adapter will just change a 6 pin firewire connection in to a 4 pin one - it wont solve your problem. You either need apple's clever dock thing which will let an ipod work from a PC with USB, or to install a firewire card in your PC - USB and firewire are completely different standards.

6-pin to 4-pin FireWire Adapter

What's this?

Will this solve my problem of not having a firewire socket in the back of my PC?

A lot of the Zens on Ebay are from overseas with Universal Power Adapters. What are these exactly? Should I buy a Zen from Singapore for £180 or a Zen from England for £216?
