I was wondering if they were going to bother reforging Anduril. Should've been done in Fellowship, but no matter.
Pelennor Fields is going to be amazing. I always believed them when they said it'll make Helms Deep look pitiful. Hopefully this time they won't build up a emotionally powerful moment, say the death of Theoden, and have Gimli trundle along and trip over comically.
Also looks like Elrond is going to trek over to Minas Tirith and give Aragorn his leg-chopper. I would be annoyed at this, seeing as the Elrond of the books sulks in Rivendell, but I want a Agent Smith elongated-style comment when he sees the orc army.
Best shot of the trailer? Gandalf galloping at a fell-beast and (looks like) using the power of his ring. Quality.

So JRR Tolkein just ripped off the Wotsit brothers, travelled back in time and published a book, replacing robots with trees and Neo with a gay elf? What is the world coming to?
Big power fairies thought Beard Guy was lazy so gave him more magic fairy powers to help the midgets with their fancy journey.

Manwe sends him back because he hasn't completed his task. That's all there is to it, I thought. Or was it Aude..Muh, I forget. Those two were his Valar sponsers, or whatever the word would be.

He had not completed his task on middle earth so he is sent back again.
Its more complex than that, but thats the jist of it.
