Are any of you proud nose owners lucky enough to have had your nose cautirized??
I got a doctor's appointment because I am regularly getting nose bleeds - Often when Ii am stressed (not much then!)
I probably have to have itr 'cauterized' It doesnt happen all the time, but some weeks i have quite a few.
The kid i babysit has had his done but he continues to bleed as with a few friends at school. I only know one person who hasnt had one since.
Please let me know whether it is worth it!
And in that case could you throw in what it involves (what the sheesh is it!?)

They stick a red hot poker up your nose to seal the vein endings.

Is that when you have to have that thing up your nose snipped? Like.. having the snip.. nearly! :D
I almost had to have it done when I was a little kid.
But, apparentely, the doctor said to my dad, "it's best for her to have it done now else she'll be scared of the doctor's for the rest of her life if she has it done any later"..
Never did have it done in the end though.
