"cauterized noses.."

Are any of you proud nose owners lucky enough to have had your nose cautirized??

I got a doctor's appointment because I am regularly getting nose bleeds - Often when Ii am stressed (not much then!)

I probably have to have itr 'cauterized' It doesnt happen all the time, but some weeks i have quite a few.

The kid i babysit has had his done but he continues to bleed as with a few friends at school. I only know one person who hasnt had one since.

Please let me know whether it is worth it!
And in that case could you throw in what it involves (what the sheesh is it!?)

well cheers folk but I have just been to good old doctor ibriham and..


I didn't have me nose cautirized!

Instead he was worried why I was stressed at 17 and prescribed me a cream that should help.
If they become extremely bad in time I will have it done.

when i was 15 i had my nose cautirized, i use to get so many nosebleeds. Caused by stress, the hot weather, everytime i had a headache. Once i had it cauterized the nose bleeds never stopped completley i just did not have them as much as i use too. It was pretty painful having it done though but it was worth it.

Aw, it doesn't necessarily mean you're unhealthy if you have nosebleeds. Maybe just stressed. Calm down! Maybe you should save all the blood you're pouring out and give it to the local hospital. :D

People always say you should leave that clot up there, but I blow it out. I just hold a tissue under my nose until it all piles up and starts to slither down your throat... then blow as hard as you possibly can. It splatters everywhere but that's cool.
Getting rid of that clot used to stop mine.

The doctors just burn(or something similar)the blood vessels in your nose so that they dont bleed anymore unless you get punched in the nose or somethin!
