I've got a pad now so maybe I'll give this game a try without having the fear of crashing a plane into a cliff.
Been playing Desert Combat since v3 and still play DC_Final more than any other game, so quite looking forward to see what Dice (Trauma)/EA have done since buying out Trauma (The original makers of DC).
Finally went Gold this week, should arrive on the 21st! Yay. If it's bad, the thankfully there's a DC mod in the pipes already!
Most people thought hl2 wouldnt run with this although it does fine (surprisingly), so im pretty doubtful.
Hopefully by September 256 cards will be more standard and I can get one. Looks like no less than a Gig of RAM, either.
You guys think that it will need a much better graphics card than half life 2?

you have a full time job and i have just left uni and havn't worked for 4 years and yet even i have a few hundred pounds kicking around, you Mr monkey need to manage your money or just stop buying yourself pretty things.
