Anyone getting this? It's looking very good indeed and it's just gone gold. Rumour has it that there will be a demo on the 10th or around then with the game being released on the 24th. I must admit I had my doubts as to whether or not this will come out in June but thankfully it is. I haven't read or seen much about this until now because I was trying not to get into all of the hype. Looks like a must have by the looks of it.

Some useful info

Battlefield went gold on June 1st 2005 and will be released on the 24th of June.

Ah, which driver do I need? The top ones, or ones that suit my card series? I've got an Nvidia Gfx Go Geforce5200 64Mb.

EDIT: and how do I install it?

You don't need to be that precise when you fly a plane into someone.

I'm sold. I just forked out £50 for a G5 Laser Mouse ( http://www.everythingusb.com/logitech_g5_laser_mouse.html ), which I'm very happy with.

I'll be honest, when I got home I thought I'd lost my marbles spending so much on a mouse, but the difference is phenomenal. I have it set to the lowest possible sensitivity when playing BF2, and even that is more sensitive than my old optical mouse. The precision is really impressive.

It's worth spending a bit on one though I think, seeing as it gets a lot of use. That keyboard could be next on my list of peripheral purchases (assuming it turns out to be as good as it looks).

I'm surprised keyboards don't cost more, it's not like you change them often, if my current keyboard wasn't so damn cool i'd probably go out and spend a fair bit on a really good one like that.

Google?

I personally wouldn't bother spending money on a system like the dx1 or a z-board as i don't see the advantage over a regular keyboard. Most games you never have to move your hand to press a key, it's not often you'd need more than 10-15 keys for a game apart from maybe a hardcore fight sim.

:(

My face looks like this right now.

Solved the graphics thing - the uninstall changed my display settings to low for some reason. Will try the driver thing in a minute.
