This thread has been linked to the game 'Battlefield 2'.
Anyone getting this? It's looking very good indeed and it's just gone gold. Rumour has it that there will be a demo on the 10th or around then with the game being released on the 24th. I must admit I had my doubts as to whether or not this will come out in June but thankfully it is. I haven't read or seen much about this until now because I was trying not to get into all of the hype. Looks like a must have by the looks of it.

Best is sidestepping at the last second and planting on the side of a buggy. Of course if the driver had any sense, he'd just press F2 and get in the gunner seat.
Similar thing happened to me the other night.
Saw this guy getting in a jeep, fired of a few shots at him as he raced towards me. Planted some c4 in front of me and moved backwards. Just as he approached (probably thinking "ha easy kill time") I detonate the c4 and blow him to bits.
It makes me feel all warm inside.

When I had some lunatic driving straight towards me at break neck speed in a jeep. I saw him coming from quite far off, but still my chances of avoiding death were slim. He was no doubt laughing maniacally at the thought of my humiliating death. At the last second I fired a grenade from my launcher, hitting the front of the jeep. It's now on fire but laughing boy is still driving his wheeled machine of death at my legs. I jumped down to the prone position just as he reaches me, the jeep rides casually over me, leaving me unscathed, half a second later I hear an explosion. Borat 1, Bollockbreath 0.

The worst is going miles in a boat, beaching it, then getting killed as you jump out.
Also, do I still hold the record for furthest inland kill with a boat? Bet he didn't see that one coming...

Haha i seem to have that on me, people will often shoot the crap out of me only for me to hit them 2-3 times and they die, shiggy put 2 sniper rounds in me once and i turn around with my spec-ops gun and killed him straight away.
I should have died but god had decided that i still had work to do and so shiggy wasn't long for the world.

Haha i seem to have that on me, people will often shoot the crap out of me only for me to hit them 2-3 times and they die, shiggy put 2 sniper rounds in me once and i turn around with my spec-ops gun and killed him straight away.

I'm gonna have to stop playing before I actually have a heart attack infront of my computer.
Earlier, I sees me an enemy copter hovering quite high above being pummeled by several APCs. It was about to explode so the pilot jumps out, I notice he lands quite close to where I am. I wander forward a few steps then BAM the wreckage of the exploded helicopter lands right on top of me. The same thing has happened before - I ejected from a plane which crashed into the side of a cliff. As I'm standing at the bottom of the cliff, the wreckage comes sliding down right next to me and explodes killing me instantly.
Then there's being killed three times in a row by the commanders arty, the several times I died the second I spawned and that time I was gunner in a buggy and one guy manages to shoot both me and the driver at the same time like some horrible JFK 'magic bullet' re-enactment.
Not to mention the hordes of enemy soilders who seem to be able to take round after round, without flinching in the slightest whilst I flop helplessly on the ground at the mear mention of being shot at.

Feel the same to me, buggys and humvies seem to be able to slide out a lot better for cornering at full speed.
