I use Ephpod too, and it's fantastic.
However, having said that, I use MMJB to rip my Cd's in the first place... :D

I think it's a bit crap, so I use Ephpod, which is a third party piece but it works very well.
With regards the price thing - yeah, they cost more. But the best things do. I've not regreted a penny spent on either of the two models I've owned, the only annoyance was back in the day when you had to use dodgy 3rd party software as Apple didn't allow Windows support. Now that's sorted buy buy buy.
I've already filled that much on my Zen.
Seriously, a larger size is better, if you can afford it.
....?
I'll go check that knowledge fuelled world of the internet for a place to buy one.

Yeah, 5GB models exist.
You see, there are three variations of iPod - 1st generation, 2nd gen (pretty much the same as the first), 3rd gen (thinner with different button arrangement).
There were 5GB 'pods in the first two (or maybe just the first) generations but not in the third (I think). Thus, you won't see 5GB 3rd generation models.
I have a 10GB 2nd gen model, and I think it's proper bo.
