1st Bush says "No link between Sept 11th and Iraq", now a Washington source has indicated the report into WOMD will more than likely say that they never were there in the first place.
Wow, it's almost like the reasons offered for the invasion were lies.
Now, the chances of Blair acting honourably and resigning/commiting Sepuku in front of the assembled media is highly unlikely, but here's to hoping.

Why do you say that?

1967 - The Six Day War - for 3 weeks Egypt massed a force of it's own troops, as well as troops from Syria, Iraq, Jordan and other Arab countries. Since May Egypt had efectively placed a sea blockade against Israeli flag shipping in the Straights of Tiran. Egypt's reason for this was that Russia had passed reports to it that Israeli troops were also massing - history shows this report to be false now. All in all, Israel was faced with roughly 500000 enemy troops, 3000 tanks, 1000 aircraft and helicopters, all arrayed against it. On June 5th Israel decided to pre-empt the attack it knew was coming. That very morning, in lightning raids, the IAF (Israeli Air Force) hit eleven enemy air fields simulataneously taking out around 300 enemy air assets. After 6 days of fighting, in which Israel used a concentration of force, superior technology - which we sold them for the most part - and a good deal of luck, UN observers brokered a cease fire, but Israel had mauled it's enemies.
Which was a good job. The Sum Of All Fears movie hinted at this, but the truth is far more scary. Israel's leaders had authorised the use of tactical nuclear weapons in the event of Israeli forces being unable to hold back the enemy forces from Israel. Had it proved impossible, the IAF would have delivered battlefield nuclear weapons, and starting a whole new ball game.
Israel has also been involved in Lebanon as a result of attacks against it, as well as in numerous other smaller operations, of note in particule is the raid on Entebbe airport - in 1976 terrorists hijacked an airliner, released all but the jewish hostages, flew it to Uganda. Israeli special forces and the IAF pentrated the airspace of numerous countries, landed, killed and executed all the terrorists as well as local troops which opposed them, and rescued all the hostages bar a few, before getting back in the air and escaping to Israel. Israel had no permission to cross these countries airspace but made it plain what would happen to anyone that tried to stop them.

To be fair, and only fair, Israel has been at War at least once with all of its Arab neighbours. But, on the other hand, i don't know why, so they may well have invaded, or they may not have. I'm just being objective.

I don't. I think there was a show on BBC 2 a few days ago, about 11 at night. They were talking to the Afgan watsit, Mr. thingey. He said it.

So the invasion of Kuwait was not a war ? Okay, tell yourself that if you must...face facts - it was a a war and you are wrong to say it was not. The very moment Iraqi forces crossed the border into Kuwait it was a declaration of war. And again, Hussein did not assist us with Iran, he did it himself. We've given the Israelis endless stuff, and they've so far failed to invade anyone with it, it's not like we give the stuff away with the precondition it was used for an invasion is it ? More to the point for a, as you seem to claim, peaceful nation, Iraq had a massive military and R+D facilities. Not the mark of a defensive military one bit.

Hmm...Yet 80 odd billion has been asked for to help rebuild Iraq. So why so much there, and so (comparatively) little to Afghanistan?
I dunno...after Dubya's high minded promises of rebuilding the nation, he seems to have sold them down the river for a few hundred million (actually; do you have a link to your source for that? I've not yet read it is all. Cheers).

Heh; cheers Skarra. It's not like Belldandy to deliberately lie and misquote somebody...
So lets read that again....
>And Hitler waged war on Europe, whereas Hussein waged war >on...well...nobody once he had assisted us overthrow Iran.
Well now, look at that; seems like I'm making a clear reference to the Iran-Iraq war. Just like I said.
So then Belldandy; I see you're just as much of a vacuous moral, intellectual, and emotional coward as you always were. ~sigh~ If I weren't sadist enough to enjoy a battle of wits with an unarmed man, I'd leave you be...
