1st Bush says "No link between Sept 11th and Iraq", now a Washington source has indicated the report into WOMD will more than likely say that they never were there in the first place.

Wow, it's almost like the reasons offered for the invasion were lies.
Now, the chances of Blair acting honourably and resigning/commiting Sepuku in front of the assembled media is highly unlikely, but here's to hoping.

"The Sum of All Fears hinted at it" - it's a film, Belldandy, designed to entertain not inform.

And in current "What? No WOMD anywhere at all? Wow, it's almost like a lie!!eleven" news:

http://www.cnn.com /2003/ALLPOLITICS/10/02/sprj.irq.kay/index.html

There's a nice non-BBC, CNN sponsored link. Because, y'know, I wouldn't want to be accused of being partisan

It's like me discussing the validity of blood loss by constantly quoting Stephen King.

He's a jowelly apologist author - end of story.
So pick up your dummy, go stuff your Patriot Games up your ass and make the angry face some more.

Erm, surely Goatboy just made fun of you for using the collected works of Tom Clancy like the Encyclopedia Brittanica?

The actual size and composition of Israel's nuclear stockpile is uncertain, and is the subject of various estimates and reports. It is widely reported that Israel had two bombs in 1967, and that Prime Minister Eshkol ordered them armed in Israel's first nuclear alert during the Six-Day War. It is also reported that, fearing defeat in the October 1973 Yom Kippur War, the Israelis assembled 13 twenty-kiloton atomic bombs.

Taken from http://www.fas.org/nuke/guide/israel/nuke/

On the eve of the Six-Day War in 1967, Israel “improvised” two deliverable nuclear explosive devices,

Also http://www.columbia.edu/cu/cup/ catalog/data/023110/0231104820.HTM

The US Administration of the time also believed Israel to have nukes -

"President Johnson and Secretary of State Rusk were particularly concerned about the threat of nuclear proliferation in the Middle East, and Rusk warned Israel that it would “lose U.S. support” it if developed nuclear weapons."

Taken from http://www.unc.edu/depts/diplomat/ AD_Issues/amdipl_15/frus_15.html

Whilst the US warned against developing nukes, Israel actually already had them anyway and this was seen as a veiled warning to Israel from the USA.

http://nuketesting.enviroweb.org /hew/Israel/Isrhist.html documents how in 1973 Israel made it clear it had nukes and would use them in the kind of situation I outlined previously.

Also from that site "William Burroms and Robert Windrem, on the other hand, assert in Critical Mass that Israel actually had two bombs available for use in 1967, and that Eshkol actually ordered them armed in Israel's first nuclear alert during the Six Day War."

What's this, Goatboy wrong again ?

I'm stuck on this account at uni 'cause I forgot my password :(
