Oh, Bell; if you're not TOO busy sulking, I was wondering how that squared with your utterly ludicrous claim that the Iraqi military went on high alert the day before 9/11. Cos, y'know, you'd think the US President would consider that to be evidence. Feel free to answer as Bell, Practical Magic, Halo Fan...whomever you like.
"70% of Americans and Belldandy believe Saddam Hussein was personally responsible"
> "70% of Americans believe that Saddam Hussein was personally
Wow, thats pretty bad.
That was liberated.

Actually, you're right.
Balls to weapons of mass destruction and terrorist link (WHOOPS! Proven to be non-existent), if they had said "We're gonna git that Saddam out and give his people skin-flicks", I'd have marched in support.

Ah, but I did see on the news/Newsnight last night that Iraqi people are now free to openly buy hardcore pornography and satellite dishes (which they’ll probably use to watch more hardcore pornography) on any streetcorner, so it’s not all doom and gloom.
Many Americans believe that some of the hijackers were Iraqi - when none were - and that the attacks had been orchestrated by Baghdad, despite any concrete evidence to support that.
"As recently as last Sunday, Vice-President Dick Cheney, refused to rule out a link between Iraq and 11 September, saying "'we don't know".
"We will have struck a major blow right at the heart of the base, if you will, the geographic base of the terrorists who've had us under assault now for many years, but most especially on 9/11."

Hmmmm...*scratches chin thoughtfully*...
Wow, it's almost like everything that's been said here about links to Sept 11th and Iraq being the "centre of the axxis of evil" is....a lie?
Who'd a thunk it?
"70% of Americans believe that Saddam Hussein was personally responsible for the attacks on the WTC"
So, let me get this straight, because I'm a little confused here:
Public admittance no link whatsoever between Iraq & Sept 11th.
No weapons of any kind of destruction discovered, despite having a majority of Hussein's government in custody.
Massive parts of Iraq still without basic amenities, no form of interim government at all of any kind involving Iraqis.
Hussein still at large.
Continual attacks on coalition troops
Can someone explain why we went to war again, I'm a little foggy on this one.
Oh, and you can't use "Saving the innocent civilians!" because that wasn't a reason offered.
