Following on from my previous threads on old skool stuff, such as top trumps, trolls and old cartoons, a conversation with absolutneo reminded me of another legendary craze.
Silly Putty, it was kind of like cool play doh which you could form into a variey of shapes and when it was some where near spherical it bounced, and quite impressively too!
Was a huge "crave about" ten years ago, and i think it got killed of by "the great POG invasion of '96". Silly putty was the stuff of legends, Anyone still got any? I think mine met with a tragic accident involving the hair of a "troll" a relic left over from a previous craze.

what were the slammers called? Kini's? and cheating little bastuds bought metal ones which flipped them better. I remember a kid selling a pog with a cool picture on it to another kid at school for £5. what a sucker!
There was a game called Silly Putty on the Amiga as well. It was pretty good.
Yes I remember it. You could make fart noises by pushing it into its container.
