Following on from my previous threads on old skool stuff, such as top trumps, trolls and old cartoons, a conversation with absolutneo reminded me of another legendary craze.

Silly Putty, it was kind of like cool play doh which you could form into a variey of shapes and when it was some where near spherical it bounced, and quite impressively too!

Was a huge "crave about" ten years ago, and i think it got killed of by "the great POG invasion of '96". Silly putty was the stuff of legends, Anyone still got any? I think mine met with a tragic accident involving the hair of a "troll" a relic left over from a previous craze.

All hail silly putty!

Oh right, sorry i misunderstood.

I just never used to play with that kind off stuff, i spent most of my time on my Atari and Amiga.

Oh how the rocked back then, i still got tones of games for the Amiga up in me garage.

i was referring to the programme, i had a load of thunder cats action figures, including a panthrow in the tank, which was quite cool but probably ended up in a carboot sale!

a rare occasion i admit, but i do respect her knowledge of the old skool, a valuable insight to dodgy old crazes and transformers.

Bah. I read about 150 pages of a book, then did about another 4 hours worth of homework, never mind the work in school.

You got to do childish fun things. Bah. Teen angst time.

Me and the guys used to play pogs in work. Anyway....

I was the best. Have several 1000 in a crate in the loft. Along with multiple metal slammers.

Now that I have humiliated myself... I'll say no more.

Remember a few year ago when YoYo's were in, lol, i went out and bought one of them ProYo thingys, cost about £10 wich is a fair bit when you are a little kid.

That only lasted a few months though.
