Outrageous diving and allegedly continuously winding up opponents. Pires could well be landed with a fine.

As usual, of course, Wenger saw nothing. Sainsburys are giving away vouchers for £10 eye tests at specsavers, perhaps he should pay them a visit...

So Arsenal's season has seen a red-card, a charge of violent conduct, an FA rap following Viera's outburst and now possibly more trouble from this incident. And we're still in August!

I wonder what odds I'll get for Arsenal breaking the Premiership disciplinary record this season?

If a load of FA representatives all try to kill him, he will. :)

Scopey you sound like Viera:

'Oh the FA hates us there is a conspiracy'

I would like to bet he doesn't even know what a conspiracy is.

Don't be so stupid. There is no big vendetta against Arsenal - they're being looked at because of their shocking disciplinary record. Can't you understand that?

I have no complaints regarding the mawling you gave us at Highbury last year... im just thankful that the score wasnt more reflective to how both sides played - you did batter us and i admit that.

Birmingham were last season overly cautioned by the referee and some might say that Blues were dirty, i have to say that this isnt the norm in all the years ive followed them tho, Cisse was a dirty so-and-so and has problems, other than that theres no real dirty players in the team, Robbie Savage is just raw competitiveness, not particulary dirty.

And the shoulder barge is often acceptable. Elbowing isn't.

Hold up, if you put your elbows out in a threatening manner, you get sent. No questions.

Are you joking?

He smacked him right in the mouth with his elbow, the ref has no other option.
