After some unpronouncable team beat them 1:0 at St. James' the match went to Peno's.
Shearer, Dyer and Woodgate MISSED but somehow they pulled it back to Sudden death, but Aaron Hughes (?) missed and some other unpronouncable person netted his peno to win it 4:3.

I think Newcastle will be very disappointed with this result. They didn't play a particularly strong team in Partizan Belgrade.
