That's about right. Yes?
*Watch out for midges - they will invade through any open window, they will bite you - so take spray/candles etc to deter them
*The Scots rip you off for EVERYTHING, when we were there me and my dad made a hokey competition to find the highest priced things whilst we were there - records include £4.95 for a jacket potato and cheese, £3.95 for a ham sandwich, £1.95 for a coffee, £2.75 for a scone and jam, £8 for parking for the day....
*The Glenfinnan Memorial is worth seeing if you're in the area, and nearby is the Glenfinnan Viaduct, also know as the bridge the Hogwarts Express crosses in the Harry Potter films :)
*The Commando Monument - same kind of area - the memorial to all the UK commando's who have given their lives, the monument stands at the very centre of an area surrounded by five mountains.
*Cairngorms Mountain Range - this tram thing goes to the top where there is a base station, viewing platform etc
Really though it depends on the area, great scenery all the way though.
I'm from Glasgow, so anything to do with the Highlands or Edinburgh I don't have a clue about.
