I suggest taking the FXR22 Compressed Edition Flamethrower to randomly spray around you to incinerate the flocks of midgies.

KILL THEM
KILL THEM AAALLLLL, MUAHAHAHAHHA!

Loch Lomond isn't in the Highlands. It's just 20 miles outside Glasgow.

Although it's been ages since I've been there, and I can't remember if there's mountains or not.

Still, enjoy yourself. If that's possible.

We went on holiday to Scotland a few weeks back, we took several ferry jouurneys to a place called, Islay, a small island. It was great, the beaches were white and there was loads to do, even free whisky if you go to Bruichladdich distillery :P. But definitely watch out for midges.

Loch Lomond is how it's spelt, yes.

Biggest "Lake" in Britain. Excluding Ireland.
Great place it is. Go to Balloch, where it starts, there's a McDonalds there. Balloch Park is great for going a walk in too. Erm, a bit further north you'll find some more Lochs, which are a lot more tranquil, the southern areas of Loch Lomond will still be mobbed at the moment.

And yes, plants can be vicious.

Ah, but that be the south. You made a grave mistake by not stopping in Glasgow.

I don't like Scotland. I went there once and even the plants attacked me.
