Anyway, some of you know who i support - Sheffield Wednesday. Being on holiday till yesterday meant i missed the start of our season. Finding ourselves in Division 2, we really have to aim to get out of there and push for promotion. Its going to be tough, but i think we can do it. So far we have won one and drawn one, and 4 points from 6 is a fair return, plus its been our best start to a season for what must be six years!
Im really looking forward to the rest of the season now, im a season ticket holder, and back them wherever they go.
So, how about the rest of you? What of the season then?

Good enough to currently top the league at the moment - mind you early days yet and all that.
Just wait until they visit Broadhall Way.
Sadly a lot of their best players have left. But they still have a good attack.
In the Nationwide league I don't really admire any teams in a way, except if a team exacts a giantkilling in the FA Cup.
Like we all say at the start of every season at Ashton Gate: "This will be the year we finally go back-up to Division One!" - Of course, I - again - believe this will be the year we win promotion.
I was doubtful after the surprising (and under-priced!) sale of Scotland B-international Scott Murray to Reading, but things like this happen in Football. I still think he's irreplacable, and I doubt that Luke Wilkshire will be the "ideal" replacement on the right-wing.
...Although, the young Austrlian signed from Middlesbrough has made a good first impression... And Lee Miller isn't a bad signing, either.
After the brilliant opening-day 'thrashing' of Notts County, I have a reason to again be over-confident that this will be the year.
But after settling for only a 1-1 draw over the weekend, I'm starting to have my doubts already...
Whatever happens, I hope to be down at Ashton Gate more often this season, once I've got my driving lesson. For the last couple of years I've been non-existent there - and for that reason (and that fact that I still don't have a single City shirt!) people will laugh at my claims of being a "City fan".
But this really could be the year.
And if it is, I don't really wanna miss it.
I miss live football, and Old Trafford is just too far away (and a bit pricey!). The Robins need my support! :)
The general concensus is, is that we should at the very least achieve a play-off place and perhaps challenging for the title.
We are 3rd favourites on average with various bookies.
Some of you may have been aware of this others not (Pro Evo probably is - are you?) but there was a bit of a scandal last season when Grahem Westley (Farnborough manager at the time) went to Stevenage and brought 8 players with him, over the summer the squad has been strengthened significantly, and we finished last season top of the form table.
3 games so far - played the 2 favourites in the first two games (how odd)
0-0 (Home) against Chester on what was an extremely hot day
2-1 (Away) win against Dagenham (Which i travelled down to and saw)
1-1 (Away) against Burton - fairly decent side
So its been a decent start ti the season and the groundwork is there to build on.
Mandatare, still following the scum? I'll be coming down there this season.
We switched off after grabbing two goals. Mark my words, Lawrie will be out of a club by Christmas and we'll have won the league come May.
So far, we beat Swindon 3-2, and drew 2-2 to Oldham at home, though we should have won...bloody ref.
