"AS/A levels - hanging yourself or basking in glory?"

Well,

I looked on the sites and no one seems to have posted a thread yet!

How did you do? Feel like killing yourself twice over? Or are you swimming in victory?

I am mixed.

My AS results were a little various you see. At sixth form I was stuffed and I couldnt take the subjects I really wanted to do - I did do eng lit/lang and Drama YAY :P but spanish and psychology I was kinda pushed into doing as ones I really wanted to do clashed with the others

Eng lil/lang -- B!!!

Theatre Studies -- B!! (TWO POINTS OFF AN A!!)

General Studies x 2 -- C and another C that was another TWO POINTS OFF A B!!

and here comes the bad bit

I was six marks off an E for spanish so i got U and I got a E in psycho :(

Doesnt matter I can catch up and do better but I was disheartened as I tried so very hard at spanish and everyone in my class flopped

How did you do? How you feel?
Congrats to those A level students getting the grades to go uni!

Plus to get an A in GS is harder than you think. It's got a pretty low A pass rate compared to others...

Considering we're 'meant' to be one of the best schools in the country, the amount of As in GS really wasn't that high...

I obviously not that dumn if I managed to pass twelve gcse's without getting one D. I was two marks off of an A in drama I got a B in english and in psychology i did really well in two of the three modules - the one I completely screwed up on I can re take

In all of my school years I have ranked one of the top of my year group I have found things damn easy and enjoyed school. I took spanish because I love the subject and have a passion for it. Not because I want to get best grade - it is a bloody hard thing to do and I scraped an E. No one in my class got higher than an E other than someone who is infact spanish.

Just because someone does badly once in there life does not mean they are thick sh*ts and deserve to be treated that way! Have I ever done anything to you? Belittled you? Really said something nasty when you are down?

I think you are lower in me - if you are shallow enough to cain someone for not being as 'bright' as you - get a life because you will find grades don't rule the world you utter moron

Loss of bodily limbs? As opposed to other limbs you have? And also there's an 'E' in single, get used to it.

Lol. I got exactly the same grades (A,B,C,D) and am going to Manchester. Granted, that I took differant subjects to you, and they ''only'' wanted BBB for my course. But still. Weird.

I'm also assuming you had some sort of supermigraine + loss of bodily limbs for the Psychology exam to get an E. I didn't even know there was an E in Psychology.

No I had a migraine, I literally finished the paper in half an hour becuase I nearly chucked up and It was the horriblest exam i ever sat!
