"Help with some virus..."

Got a virus called "Parite" or something. I keep doing a virus check with this new checker I just got and it recognises to viruses, yet says "You have no viruses". I can't open hardly any programs.

I get the error "Win32/Parite is found in file . Please run AVG for Windows."

I do yet it doesn't work. Hellllllp.

Dunno, doubt it. I just typed dialer.exe into google to see if there was anything related to viruses. dialer.exe could be the filename for a lot of things though really. Have you tried running it? Although I wouldnt recommend it lol.

A) I never use the Internet for porn sites...
B) It later says that it was a game site...

So, I could possibly get a massive phone bill?

Tsk tsk, young man! ;) Theres loads of links on google for that unfortutely, could be anything because the names a bit vague.

Trojan?

Dunno why they cannae be deleted. Just says " can not be deleted".

One of the files is "Dialer.exe"...hmmm...

DW, Why can't they be deleted ? are they "in use" ?, it's long winded but may be easier to delete them from a DOS Window ?

I removed 800+ files that were affected, yet 52 remain that can't be deleted that contain the virus.

*grumbles*

Now what?

Shhhh...

Well...let me explain...

I bought PSP7 and took it back (kept it on PC). It was really hard convincing them to take it back. I never backed up it. :c(
