I think Marriage is a wonderful ceremony. What are your views on it? Do any of you want to get married, and if not, why not?

Are any of you married already and have any horror stories or great stories to tell?

Yeah, I want to get married, sometime in the future. Talking about weddings, I'm going to one this month, my cousin's getting married.

I will get married one day, not till I want to settle down though.

And i'm not going to give vows to god, I believe in the institution and commitment rather than god.

God is pants.

I will never get married. I own stuff. :D

I vehemently rebel against manipulation and being told what to do. I would be the husband from hell and I would want absolutely nothing to do with children (If I actually ended up with some they would have to be 'accidental' ones, and if so I would be out the door).

Ain't I a nice person? :D

Right at the age where - education and subsequent employment subject to certain levels - you can do almost anything you want, you'd want to tie yourself down by being married ?

That is not true, mine was romantic and I still remember it. It depends totally on what the individuals want. I went to a blessing the other day because the couple eloped 1 year ago. When I eventually managed to buttonhole the groom I asked him why he had bothered with all this palava and he told me it was all for the sake of the brides' mother.
