Same as the RAW thread. You all seem to think it's a good idea so I made a smackdown thread. Just discuss what happens on smackdown, week in, week out. Remember NO SPOILERS but if you really have to post one, make sure you give everyone a chance to watch the show.

There's no dispute that Raw has a bigger variety in wrestlers but that doesn't give you good matches. Take a comparison of Raw and Smackdown this week.
Raw had the cage match which wasn't good. Lance Storm V Rico - dull. The Women's tag match - usual women's match. The big tag match - dull and then almost killed Spike with that botched spot. Steiner V Richards - alright for 2 and a half minutes. Main event - Pathetic beatdown.
That was Raw. Compare that with Smackdown.
Cruiserweight tag match to kick it off. Good fast paced fun. The womans match blew. Benoit V Rhyno - good match and good length. A replay of the Summerslam match between Angle and Lesnar. Not the best match they have had but better than anything Raw has done recently. Eddie V Cena - Great fun and good match. A.P.A V Mattitude - Squash match and was just filler. Then the pointless main event stuff.
I say Smackdown kicks Raw out of the water this week. Smackdown had fun matches and generally focused more on the wrestling. It's true that both main events didn't deliver and this has been a major problem for WWE recently.
In summary, Smackdown gets longer matches for the better wrestlers and Raw gets a lot of talent surpressed and the matches have been dull and lifeless.

Well...raw has a better variety of wrestlers and they actually put on a GOOD show.
Explain that theory CGJ. I'd like to know how Raw matches are better than Smackdown matches.
I agree with the paul heyman thing but not with th matches are better on smackdown opinion.
Smackdown was better when Paul Heyman was writing the shows. The matches on Smackdown still beat Raw though.
It was better before steph came as a GM aswell

Im starting to like Raw better now, Smackdown seems to be going downhill a little.
Yeah, every week it's always vince vs steph, it's getting stupid, if it was a wrestler vs vince or something then it would be better.
