We seem to be starting quite a few at the moment, so lets keep it all in one place.

This is your centre for enquiring about/recommending/talking about any albums, songs or rappers.

Enjoy.

My point is that that song wasn't even an actual song, it was just the intro. If you want to compare it to films lol - imagine watching the Shawshank Redemption and watching the first 10 minutes, which are well-written, and tense, but then turning off the film and missing out on everything else. That's the film equivalent of only hearing the Intro to Be.

Hey, I've seen plenty of trailers that were better than the actual film! ;-P

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks Common >>>> Jay-Z.

BE is immense stuff, classic from start to finish. Some real Triple-A guests on there too (Kanye aside).

After only hearing Corner (and loving it anyway), I took the plunge and bought BE - turned out to be one of those few 'struck gold' purchases. Like College Dropout, a masterpiece.

Strid, don't download the whole album, you filthy pirate. Make the investment - you won't be disappointed.

Common >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jay Z

I enjoyed the Black album, but it isn't fit to lick the shoes of BE.

Hmm have you checked the Radio 1 website, Zane Lowe puts his tracklist's up a few days after the shows.

And everyone. I listened to the new Common album in full last night.

Absolutely fantastic. Easily the best Hip-Hop album released since the turn of the century and contending with everything released before. There's nothing quite like this anywhere, nothing quite as soulful and uplifting and funky all in one. The way the album builds up with lots of nice songs and then the last song is absolutely fantastic with the soul singers on the chorus and Common's dad giving his voice to make the ending like the black version of that Baz Luhrmann song. Sooooo good, everyone has to buy this, you owe it to your soul.

I just cant see why Tim cant put up a track listing from his shows, a right pain trying to find tunes you have heard around.

Probably a newly leaked one from his upcoming album. Wait a few days and then some of the music geeks who record the shows to try and get rare songs should have put it up on Limewire or similar things.
