Apparently you can join one of "The Houses" and have a stronghold/house of your own.
Any idea where and how?
The House Redoran is best for Fighter's Guild, and seeing as that's me, anyone know or done this?

I want my own house where I can hang pictures and not pick things up for days.

I am currently in house redoran and i haven't got a strong hold. I think they'll update it every time you advance.

Man try getting a taxi to Khuul or Caldera. "Sorry mate don't do Saath of the riva". Also whilst it's easy to get shoes repaired (and keys cut) I can't get anyone to fix my sword or buy the mushrooms I've found growing on a piece of roadkill.

Yup. I've got the Atmospheric sounds mod which is great: zillions of new sounds added (Tribunal is included) including the sound(s) of weather effects that you can now hear when you are in a building. There's a Vivec mod as well I use which adds a shanty town element to the city.

Speak to one of the Telvanni Mouths in Sadrith Mora. They're in a small tower building behind the three traders, near the Brallion, the Bosmer with the slaves in cages.

How do you join Telvanni?

Redoran are honourable, so all members of the house will be up-front and honest with you, and quests will involve heroic smiting of evil-doers, or something along those lines. The Redoran Stronghold will I *think* be a minite or two North of Ald-ruhn. It contains lots of free goodies very useful for fighters - although some are being worn/carried by your guards. Can you be tempted...?

Hlaalu are decietful thieves, so missions involve nicking stuff or conning people. I never got as far as getting the stronghold in that house, so I couldn't tell you how good it is.

Telvanni is my favourite. Full of backstabbing power-hungry mages with little regard for each other's lives or property. If you're reasonably competent as a mage, go for it. Your stronghold also looks very cool if you're a Telvanni.

I'm currently using a plug-in that fixes the way theives work, it makes the lockpicking and stuff more realistic, and you get stealth bonuses in dim light etc.

As soon as this BB line is actiated I want to download the Giants one and some of the other big popular ones, having dragons in the mountains and sharks swimming about will make it a lot better.
