Any idea where and how?
The House Redoran is best for Fighter's Guild, and seeing as that's me, anyone know or done this?
I want my own house where I can hang pictures and not pick things up for days.

You're thinking right. Just drown yourself until the water breathing metre and also your health metre goes down to zero, and hey presto! - your passage to the shrine will be opened.

Hey, i'm still sorda new to the game, and i am going through the temple thing where u have to visit all the shrines. I am in the puzzle canal in vivec, and i'm on that platfor that has a shrine that says like "breath the waters of his grace and the way will be made clear" I'm not sure if i am doing it right, but i figured that that ment to drown yourself or something. but nothing happens. how do u get through the foggy thing
The Twin Lamps quests become available once you've freed a certain number of slaves. I don't recall how many exactly.
Does anyone know how to join the Twin Lamps?
I encountered a bug on Bloodmoon; completed a quest (which took a while) and the bloke whom I had to report back to had gone and gone away, gor blimey he had n all. Just because I had the audacity to rest while on the job.
Had to do the whole thang again.
Problem with games like this is you never know if it is indeed a bug or your own ineptitude; when you can't solve a puzzle or close out a quest.

Nah, it was a typical bug apparently, having trawled for an hour through forums elsewhere.
She tells you to discover proof of corruption.
I do so, and whilst there I free the slave leader.
Apparently you're supposed to get the proof, then go back to her, then go back to Caldera and free the slaves, then go back to her.
But the room with the proof also happens to contain a "slave key", so it's natural to be all Mr Emancipation, at the expense of the quest.
But god bless pc console commands.
I passed the quest, got Ebony boots and swapped them for a knife and some bread.
Now I'm twiddling my thumbs waiting for some bird to build my stronghold

You've probably tried this...
Maybe the NPC will only update you after these few days have passed. Their scripting being pedantic at al.

Well, I'm no member of House Redoran, but I did go on a little freelance slave-liberating feel-good happy quest a while back and I'm sure there's more than just the one 'cat-slave thing' over at Caldera Mines.
I expect you have to return and free every last one (if I remember rightly, there are two or three).

So I get a dodgy ledger proving naughtiness and free some cat-slave thing, journal says "production will halt for a few days thanks to her release"
Go back to Al'dhrun and to the woman that gave me the quest.
Will she bloody update me? Will she hell.
"You must discover proof of corruption and halt the mining"
"I've done that, now support me"

"Yes, I heard you. Here's the ledger, take it and complete this quest"

Cue frustrated murder rampage and reloading.
