I agree, just saying the wording of the sentence gives THE IMPRESSION that they are indecisive. Geez, the reason for this topic was just to point THAT out, but you lot have to bring in the obvious factors. IF I had wanted a good discussion on whether marine guy committed a crime, or how stupid that girl was, I would have put that sort of topic in the Life forum.

That's not indecision you inbred simpleton, that's following procedure. Would you rather they simply decided out of hand that he was guilty of abduction, rape, war-crimes, concealing weapons of mass destruction, sinking the rainbow warrior and the Kennedy assassination?
That would be unreasonable. Taking the time to be methodical and coming to a proper and informed conclusion is, I think, a little more sensible.
