Can you reccomend me any good books? I suck at choosing books, cause I never read them much. I want to get a GOOD book for holiday reading (Going to Ibiza next month :D)
I want a book that's funny, and good enough to grip you for a long time. I remember Meka Dragon saying a month or so ago about one book he liked - but I can't remember its name.
Thanks for the help.

might do next, although I fancy another king novel
some of the theories and concepts he tries to convey are just astounding to me. I've been putting off reading this one, as its a story of the same scale, and you need a perfectly straight head to keep up with his brilliant mind.
anyone else read either of these books?

It'll knock about a fiver off the price, but I don't blame you if you just want to try one of them. It's probably not everyone's cup of tea, although I think more of a general audience than Discworld.
Darn - I've just been checking out some of these books you've mentioned on Amazon. They look soooooooooo good!
Book shopping list so far: -
Porno (the book by Irvine Welsh)
HappinessTM
The Hippopotamus - Stephen Fry
Any of the Michael Moore books
Any of those Pratchett books Blank mentioned.
Cheers guys - You rock!
I guess it just never really interested me.
(Sigh i'm talking about Harry Potter. Its sunday and I have'nt been to a party for a few weeks - life without alcohol makes gamezfreak talk sensible)
