Wouldn't it be weird if his memoery was wiped, who he was, how to talk, what he was, everything... he'd have to start again. I'd hate that...
And a hard-on. If I was out the loop for 19 years I'd have balls the size of space-hoppers. Do you think they employ someone to bring him off incase the build up breaks him, or do they leave it to the family?
