The military authorities in Iraq are offering a $25m reward for information leading to the capture of former president Saddam Hussein.
The top US official in Iraq, Paul Bremer, said $15 million was being offered for similar information about Saddam's two sons, Uday and Qusay.

"I have certainly not forgotten Saddam Hussein and his sons," Mr Bremer said in a message broadcast to the Iraqi people.

"They may or may not still be alive. Until we know for sure, their names will continue to cast a shadow of fear over this country."

The whereabouts of Saddam Hussein has been the source of much speculation since Baghdad fell to US-led forces on 9 April.

The $25m matches the reward the US is offering for information leading to the capture of Osama Bin Laden, the al-Qaeda leader missing since the fall of the Taleban regime in Afghanistan early in 2002.

So. Now they admit they failed to kill him. Earlier this year they insisted he was dead, now they ask for information on his whereabouts. So the whole war was bungled, and there are still no weapons of mass destruction. A few days ago the most people yet had been killed in the whole war.

....none of which changes the originally made point; that the war was a shambles, the US administration haven't got a clue what to do about peacetime Iraq, and that they've failed now to capture any of the people who were ostensibly the reasons behind the recent conflicts.

Not like you to try and mindlessly change the focus from something that criticises your beloved US Bell....

But the poll clearly states he is above average for any administration in the entire history of the country ! Yet other administrations did not declare war on two nations in a row, he did and he is still more popular !

The poll shows 2 in 3 support him, and 3 in 4 look on him favourably, which compared to his much trumpeted marginal election victory of just over 50% ( 1 in 2 ) is pretty excellent.

Except the date of the poll I linked to (link still available), the day of your claims, quite clearly states his approval had dropped since the start of the war.

Nice try. But linking to another poll some 3-4 days after doesn't cut it.

Ta da ! 2 out of 3 Americans still support him, though his lead has dropped from pre Iraq days, however Gallup note that this is above average for ANY president at this time in office. 3 in 4 agreed he was a strong decisive leader, and only 24% did not agree he was honest, which considering he was voted in on just over 50% anyway is pretty damn good.

Oh I did add something of value.
I provided a link debunking your ridiculous "public support is growing" comment.
Which you chose to ignore, and instead focused on a completely different asset that you could talk about without having to admit that you made a statement independant of fact.
Again.

Time for dinner, but I'm sure we'll continue this tomorrow m'dear.

So I guess you could add nothing of interest either then ? At least I believe in something, what do you believe in ?

Ah but when he has nothing to add of interest, intelligence or value, he resorts to "nyah nyah nyah" name-calling and ignoring a post.
See "I was wait for it, wrong" and "time to do a little gardening in Iraq".
And we already know he doesn't understand the concept of "humour". C'mon, this is the kid that admits to having a Stars and Stripes flag on his wall, like some Marine stationed away from base.
No humour, concept of irony or the ability to approach any topic other than "USA! USA! USA!".

Oh the irony...

Let me think which is more embarassing here. Me, unknown regular making the odd posts and dropping in the odd inflamatory ideas which I know will bait certain people...or a notable continuing his ceaseless crusade much to the amusement of just about everybody else.

"Huh huh you got owned" should be like your tagline.

I like the way the only response to the links and facts I provided was the BBC one.
Avoiding and trying to deflect from the fact you got owned.
Again.

Man, why do you even still post here? Have you any idea how ridiculous you are, and in front of everyone here?
Still, it's kind of admirable to see someone with absolutely no sense of embarassment that keeps returning to be spanked in front of the crowd.
