Right, look at your DVD collection. Any good movies?
What I want is suggestions to DVD's that are not only great movies but also have great extras on the DVD.

Please really think about it and don't just name films that are fairly average and you would only really watch once.

Cheers for your suggestions.

That list is too long, my friend, and you may not be ready. First you must travel to Tibet, where there lives a man, in a cave underneath the red boughed tree. He will set you three tasks, and then will your search for the Rowntree be complete.

And, er, you'll know the List of great films :D

The mix of a great film and really good extras (not just the standard making of and trailers) is surprisingly hard to find. You need a DVD fanatic director like Peter Jackson, really. Anyway:

Lord of the Rings Extended Edition. The Two Towers will be great as well.

Monty Python & The Holy Grail - funniest set of extras ever, including the Lego Knights of Camelot and Michael Palin's How To Eat A Coconut. Film's good too :)

Apart from that, I can't really help. I can tell you great films, sure, but I never really care about the extras on a DVD.

Some other DVDs I recommend is Godfather Trilogy if you like Gangster films, there are over 5 hours worth of bonus features + too much to list here Im yet to buy the boxset, the DVDS are highly recommended by a lot of people. Also keep an eye out for Daredevil in mid July as the film will be released here before US! also will be uncut and will come as a 2 disc DVD including over 5 hours of featurrets and making of documentries alone! also including 3 music videos, trailers, screen tests and tons more.

Termanator 2 Judgement Day (Ultimate DVD 2 discs)

A must buy if you enjoyed the film, has a great load of extras, inluding lenghly making of documentries, hundreds of short featurrets, trailers + loads more including hidden Easter egg. I own this and comes highly recommended.

The Osbournes series 1 (2 discs)

Not everyones cup of tea but I love it has 12 episodes lasting 30 mins or more and has some really good extras. Including some funny mini games, interviews, bloopers and TONS of deleted scenes most are pretty good a well one scene lasts around 25 minutes! the interative menus are great to there is also picture galleries and hidden easter eggs. Recommended if you like comedies.

Trainspotting Definitive Edition (2 discs)

The 90's British Classic on 2 discs with a lot of extras including comentarys, past and present documentries, making of behind the scenes, deleted scenes. trailers and more.

Did you even read the post? He wants great DVD's not just great films. I own Casino, Goodfellas etc and they are classic films but as a DVD with extras etc they don't provide anything extra special.
