One of my cats is getting on a bit. She's a really nice cat, good coat, good temperament. She must be about 12 now, and it's starting to show. She hardly jumps anymore and has to take the stairs one at a time. She did catch a bird the other day though. It's sad when animals get old...

Yeah, my cat is 16/17. She can still run up the stairs, but she's getting pretty fat. When I had people over last Saturday, they thought she was pregnant, heh.
She used to jump onto windowsills and stuff, so you knew she wanted to be in. Now she just scratches and meows until you hear her. Lazy thing...

My old cat died when it was...almost 18 I think, so monkey, I'm sure yours has a few years left yet.
My cat's about 16, and it's starting to feel really "boney" to the touch. It doesn't wander far either. Just sleeps all day. It's still crazy though, which is good.
