Hi,
I've redesigned http://taka-q.port5.com and was wondering what you all think, and whether it works in all browsers.

Cheers for you input.

Phft 17" 1600x1200 is hardcore, even on a 17" 1152x864 is chunky. Anyway, standard practise for designing websites is to make them fit to at least 760px in width, and allow it to adapt to different browser sizes. However even on my 1600x1200 + 1024x768 (dual monitor) display, my browser doesn't use more than 920x735 of desktop real estate. Maximising anything at over 800x600 is just a waste of time.

And that doesn't take skill. you just need your pc in a low res and that is easy, nut with a 21" moniter it is just a bit chunky that size, so I have it at 1152x864

It does, but if you have any bars apart from the address bar at the top on 800x600 it scrolls, which I don't like much. The popup just gets rid of the toolbars.

www.staghosting.com

Use that hosting instead of the amazingly slow and crap Portland whatever

:-)

I can't even comment on your site as it wouldn't load in the two minutes I gave it to do so.

I could, but then the Close button would bring up a small box asing if you wanted to close the site, and on 800x600 res (i like my sites to work on that becuase so many people use it) it would not fit due to the address bar etc.

I don't like the way it pops up in a new window.

Can't you change it?
