Hi,
I've redesigned http://taka-q.port5.com and was wondering what you all think, and whether it works in all browsers.

Cheers for you input.

Is that other people do something an excuse for doing it yourself? Its an excuse I'd expect a 10 yr old to give at school to a teacher, not a grown up.

Had a browse, obviously behaving themselves recently, as I cant find anything that really matches your response below. And anyway, I'm not sure sites such as those are a fair comparison to this one. This is a forum on a games seller's website. Hardly a hardcore web design forum. :)

Wasn't aware that being good at something entitled you to rip into others work that is of inferior quality. You know as well as I, that the majority of posters here are amateur designers rather than working professionals. What purpose does it serve to rip into them because they lack experience? Especially if you don't even bother to explain where they are going wrong.

Sure, on the other hand I doubt people ask for opinions to give others the opportunity to massage their fragile egos and prove to world how great they are. :-)

I try an extra colour, but as for changing the code, I really could nto be bothered, and I am not quite how I would change it anyway.

Colurs are getting better... try adding another comlimentary colour to it to liven it up a little. The "X" is a better idea too as people know what this is for..

On a different note... surly you could re code this instead of just exporting it from fireworks into dreamweaver and publishing it? It's too obvious from the code that all you did was generate the design in FWKS and export it staight out. FWKS produces some overly bloated code! and unreliable JS.

Hey.. live with it... you ask for an opinion, and you get it. So sometimes I'm a tad brutal... tough... anyone else in this industry is just as brutal... try asking some people on these forums for feedback and then tell me your upset (I'm on there as Brooklyn):

If you don't want opinions I suggest you avoid asking for them

Sorry bout this, but don't complain to me if you get 404 errors, Portland seem to be having server problems at the mo.

Sorry, but theres not much I can do except hope Portland sort it out quickly.
