We live in a physical world, of physical properties. The physical world is ruled by physical laws. Humans are physical beings, therefore we can never experience freedom.

if i could have any ability of another living thing, it would be the ability to fly, or perhaps the ability to breathe and see underwater. i'd prefer both. the wind and height are relaxing, while the mysterious blue depths are mysteriously mystical.

Guess it depends what definition you choose to attach to the word.

Not very deep, but hey...

Gah. It's too late in the evening for my brain to understand a word of that :-)

freedom is ungratefulness .. for we have freedom but wish for more .. we are free to walk where we want .. think what we want .. imagine what we want .... what else do we want to be free to do ... fly without wings

But Freedom is not a physical material or even real. It's an idea, a creation of society, and a mutable one at that, with no one meaning.

Hence something which is not tangible cannot be effected by any laws, because it does not exist in any kind of physical state.

Freedom is an idea, an aspiration, an ideal. Whilst one person still believes in Freedom then the idea lives on, and does not die or disappear.

nice piece of philosophy .. but the main element of freedom is choice .. and infinate choice is too much to choose from

every decision you make is from a limited range .. but your freedom is choosing from it

so the boundaries are simply a tool in making us free to make decisions within our boundaries .. where would you go if there were no bounds in space? nowhere because there would be no bounds to move from or to ..

True, the only time humans will ever experience true freedom is when they are without a physical body, therefore they will onl either experience true freedom when stoned or dead
