My shiny new PS2.
Does everything you want it to?
NOPE!!!!
The drink-tray thing slides out, you pop in your beverage and it closes again, crushes the cup and has a fit.
This is not good.
And vertical?
Don't even get me started, how the heck do I put a cup in that when its on it's side?

Polygons and frame-rates be damned, you'd think in this age you could design a drinks tray that didnt defy the laws of Physics.

BTW Goatboy, I've noticed threads on the PS2 DVD scoring problems. Have you tried it as a cookie cutter yet?

Cool. We were thinking about the Rockies and Banff National Park. If there are plenty of bars there, all the better ;-).

I was briefly at Uni, but now I've got me a job.

I work for BT as an Internet Operation Trainee.

In the Rocky Mountains. Banff to be more specific. Beautiful place, though I saw more of the insides of bars than the scenery.

I was working in a hotel during a 'gap' year.

So you're getting married then?

Good luck!

Sorry I'm off topic here, but where did you live in Canada Meka? I'm looking for ideas where to go on honeymoon, and Canada is first choice.

You can use the scart lead out the back to hold the door open too. Though its quite funny when people pull too hard (when the door is shut), and get assaulted by a large black box with PS2 written on the side, with drinks, biscuits etc... spraying off it. They knock next time!

Don`t forget the biscuit holder in the back where it says "expansion bay".

Apparently crumbs get into something called the "Cd Drive", now I'm not stupid, I wouldnt stuff foodstuffs into my CD player, that would be stupid.

However, after experimenting a little with my black PS2 beverage holder/cat shelf/sandwich warming device, I am happy to report that you can also store Chewits and Pacers in the drink tray, it does close all the way but makes a strange whirring noise. The drawer is a tad sticky to open, but it does so in the end.
I have found that if you clean the tray with a medium to heavy scaler and some bleach, the foodstuff comes off a treat.

Tomorrow I will experiment with the "Vertical Stand" to see how that affects the capability of storing beverages and preparing light snacks.
