My shiny new PS2.
Does everything you want it to?
NOPE!!!!
The drink-tray thing slides out, you pop in your beverage and it closes again, crushes the cup and has a fit.
This is not good.
And vertical?
Don't even get me started, how the heck do I put a cup in that when its on it's side?

Polygons and frame-rates be damned, you'd think in this age you could design a drinks tray that didnt defy the laws of Physics.

Plus I've heard that the X-Box *makes* expresso.

Sony, your days are numbered.

But can it whip cream like the GameCube?

Having slated the PS2 inability to correctly store my beverages, it does make a nice cat-sleeping place. Nice and warm after a while, and I can attest that my moggy loves to curl on top and sleep.

And, you can keep toasted sandwiches in the drinks tray, it doesnt close all the way but still stays warm for up to 20 minutes.

So I may have underestimated the PS2 household ability.

The Dreamcast does make a smashing trifle

It has a CD drive?

The Gamecube makes cream? I thought it could only manage ice, sugar and, er, Rubik's....

Did you not get the Devo reference?

As in the band Devo who had hits in the 80's including 'Whip It'!

I really should get out more methinks.

It's funny, because I don't think I actually heard that song until 1996/7 when I was living in Canada. They used to show that music video at least twice a day on their main music channel! (not MTV)

I seem to hear it all the time now though!

Er no, I didn't get the reference. What with my alias being 'devo' ;-)

It was my excuse for making a very, very bad joke.....
