Well, Southampton and Arsenal at Cardiff. No Vieira, and no Campbell could cause problems for Arsenal.
I really do fancy Southampton.

Just chat about it here as it happens, any controversy, fantastic goals, and dodgy decisions.

Looks like that was Seaman's last ever game.

Good game, and the best team won on the day.

It was great watching Bobby Robson meeting the teams, you could tell what he was saying to some of them, such as Ljungberg had had a haircut, etc.

They say that Lundekvaum (?) was lucky not to be sent off so early on, but then again, I doubt the ref would have done that...

Southampton needed to make the most of their chances today, and unfortunately they didn't. Beattie won a lot of balls in the air, if they had another player in their to knock them in, they would have been laughing. Once Tessem came on he got on the end of one of them, but by then it was too late.

Good late save by Seaman, though both Southampton keepers pulled off some stunners too.

Arsenal looked good at the end their though, the way they held on to the ball reminded me of England VS Brazil. Southampton simply couldn't get it ff them.

guess they'll be back for the Charity Shield in a few months when it all kicks off again. Then they'll get a thrashing... ;o)

Nice to see that Southampton didn't run out of steam and I thought it was an entertaining game. Was getting annoyed when Arsenal were time wasting towards the end and nearly stopped breathing when Southampton nearly equalised.

Still well done Arsenal!
