In fairness, the fame of Amy Pond was explained. And so were the Cybermen really.
Still, Doctor Who is basically gibberish now. Its easy to enjoy now that they've set the standard so low. Have Matt Smith twirl around a bit, remind us how attractive Karen Gillan is and its job done. Things like plot, consistency of story, quality writing arent required.

I've enjoyed every single episode of the current series. Smith is far more Troughton than Baker, and that's a good thing.
The cybermats made a return, it was a nice condensed story prior to a big finish and felt like quite a personal story for The Doctor. I definitely don't want to see Doctor Who go down the big overbearing US Sci Fi dramas of late, it's not that type of show.
Anybody watch that awful episode of Dr Who?

I've enjoyed every single episode of the current series. Smith is far more Troughton than Baker, and that's a good thing.

Exactly, Smith makes a great Doctor but the writers are holding him back with poor episodes, the only exception being the one where the Pirate ship gets attacked by the siren, i'll admit that one was good.

Busy day today. Just been to sell my scooter, then off to head into town to get a few bits. Then to the Middlesbrough - Ipswich match, followed by going out for a few (read: a lot of) drinks.
