And as a graduate you haven't really got 'any life' that fits into 'job application' speak ... so to speak :¬)
So what you have done or experienced ... embelish a bit! You know ... worked as a 'pot washer' for 4 months -> 'gained valuable commercial and personnel relational skills' within the entertainment sector. Stretches the point a bit, but if it gets you an interview then you can 'explain' :¬)[/i]
I'll be honest, it's not the whole adding stuff to the CV that's a problem, I have 14 months of experience in the chemical industry (when it finishes). It's the "describe a difficult project that you saw through to completion, paying particular attention to any difficulties and how you overcame them". Quite difficult to do that when the most relevant stuff includes confidential information
Ah, well...
Nice to see you're still alive, Emmie ;)
So you know that means, watch out for cheats and reviews : )
Hope everyone has been keeping well, spoonbeast has hit no1 while iv been away aswell, how things have changed.....
But prior to that I used a dial-up connection, which isn't included within this figure. So in reality, I've been here for well over 12 years ... sad really:¬)
Been pretty busy today and had someone round to replace our electrcity meter with a new one.
I've been on here 4173 days, which is very scary. At least my post count is fairly healthy. Though I guess that could be considered unhealthy at the same time...
HM and schools being prisons must be synonymous with each other! Back in school, the school had a problem with kids running away due to bullying problems (myself included). Rather than admit having a problem, they built an 8-foot fence around the perimeter and after school kids had to be let out through a gate controlled by one of the teachers.
HM Prison. Like it!
Belated 1000th Chris. I'm just over 2700, scary how time flies. Remember the time I first joined the forums back in the days of SR. I'd had an op on my toes and was chairbound for a few days and started talking here to pass the time! Pretty scary as this coincided with my A2 levels...which means I left school ages ago!
As for today...I have a contact lens clinic at 11 (finally getting over the idea of placing lenses into other people's eyes!) Should be a good morning. I hope!
Watched Drive last night, really enjoyed it. Suppose it could be classed as a bit of a marmite film, could see how some may find it a bit slow moving (for the first half anyway) and towards the end it does get rather violent. Reckon my Mrs. would have hated it but it worked for me. Wouldn't watch it again but it's well worth a rent IMO.
Drat, missed my 1000 day birthday. Oh well, here's to another 992 days.
Belated happy 1000th day then!
